Photography Magazines

Professional Photographer- Professional Photographer magazine has several sections: photographer profiles, tech/gear, business advice, quick take tutorials and digital access to past issues.

Digital Photo Pro- This magazine is filled with comprehensive information: gear and reviews, photographer profiles, technique, business advice, industry news, galleries and access to back issues.

Shutter- ShutterMag has four main sections: articles, featured photographers, learn, and books.  Their A-Z photography glossary is extensive and well-researched.

Nature Photographer - Nature Photographer magazine showcases field contributor’s images, and has both a print and PDF edition.  The “free to read” section has many articles including equipment reviews and location recommendations.

Black & White- B&W magazine is dedicated to displaying art photography images and sponsoring several contests every year.  The winners are then featured in the following magazine issue, such as the Smartphone contest. Professional photographers can submit ads requesting gallery representation.  The full archive of contest entries is available online to browse.

Leica Fotografie International - LFI was first published in Germany in 1949, and eight times a year LFI presents classic and contemporary portfolios by world-wide Leica photographers. The magazine also offers in-depth information on Leica equipment.

aperture - aperture is published in New York City, and is filled with articles, portfolios, news about exhibitions, internships and workshops as well as calls for entry.
