Seattle parks - This is a comprehensive A-W guide of every large and small Seattle park from Albert Davis Park to Waterfront Park. Each listing includes a small photo and a full description of the park and all the surrounding views.

San Juan islands - This is the official San Juan Island visitors’ bureau website and offers extensive information about Lopez Island, Orcas Island and San Juan Island/Friday Harbor. A lot of photos are included: the Scenic Byway, several harbors, Lime Kiln Lighthouse, lavender festival and other events.

Oregon beaches - In 1913 Oregon passed the Beach Bill to reserve beaches, coves and coastline as public lands. This website describes eleven of the best beaches from the iconic Cannon Beach to Indian Beach. Photos are included along with excellent descriptions and dining recommendations.
