Processing and Printing

Panda Lab - Located next to Seattle Center on Warren Avenue North. Panda Lab was founded in 1983 and provides superior color and traditional black & white processing and printing for professional, commercial, and amateur clients.  Panda Lab’s services include state-of-the-art color printing, digital image enhancement, E-6 and C-41 film processing, heirloom photo scanning and reproduction. Panda constantly upgrades all processing and printing equipment.

moonphoto Lab - Located between Seattle’s Phinny Ridge and Ballard neighborhoods. Established in 1974, moonphoto is a professional photography lab that makes high quality photographs from digital files, film and old photos. They utilize Adobe Photoshop and Camera Raw software to make fine-tuned adjustments or mend any damage to recent or treasured old photos.

Kenmore Camera (DIY) - Located north of Seattle in Kenmore. In addition to selling/trading all types of photography equipment, Kenmore Camera offers a full-service Photo Lab: film developing, film & print scans, ink jet photo printing as well as digital media recovery, and custom image work and restoration. Photographic Center Northwest (DIY) - Located in the heart of the Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in a renovated 1920’s ambulance building.  PCNW was founded in the early 1980s, and currently offers classes and certificate programs.  The facilities are open to the public and include a B&W darkroom, digital lab and printing, light and daylight studios. Bay Photo Lab (on-line) - Located in Scotts Valley, California, Bay Photo was established in 1976 and continues to focus on quality service, fast turnaround, and innovated products such as ThinWraps, a frameless new way to mount and display images.  Bay Photo also creates metal, wood or canvas prints.

Xpozer (on-line) - Located in the Netherlands, Xpozer is known for their innovative super-huge print+frame product. Their photo services include a photo check, photo optimization and sample print. Their products include an e-course, e-book and a printed photography book.

 

Frame Shops

Framesmith Custom Picture Framing - Located near Seattle Center, Framesmith was established in 1986 and provides the highest quality custom matting and framing for photographers, galleries, designers and commercial clients. Framesmith is known for their wide selection of products and services, and their commitment to perfection.

Seattle Custom Framing - Located in Belltown since 2005. Seattle Custom Framing designs framing to suit your style and budget. Services include mounting, matting, laminating and other presentation products.

Blick Art Supplies Seattle - Located in the Capital Hill neighborhood on Broadway near Seattle Central College. Framing supplies are available for sale or you can work with their custom printing and framing department.

Queen Anne Museum Quality Framing - Museum Quality Framing has eight Seattle metro stores including one in Queen Anne. They offer a wide selection of matts and frames, and also printing on paper, canvas or ChromaPrint.

 

Camera Stores

Glazer's Cameras and Rentals - Located in the South Lake Union neighborhood.  Glazer’s is family owned and operated since 1935, and offers a wide selection of new and used cameras, gear, and classes as well as lectures, events and workshops. You can also trade in or sell your equipment. Glazer’s provides repair and sensor cleaning services. Their rental shop offers photo, video, lighting and grip equipment.

Kenmore Camera - Located north of Seattle in Kenmore. Kenmore Camera offers a huge selection of cameras, lenses, tripods and other gear as well as accepts trade-ins or buys used gear. Check their website for current events and classes.

Borrow Lenses - Located in San Francisco and Boston. Borrow Lenses offers a wide range of cameras and lenses for rent along with rental packages. Top brands include Canon, Sony, Nikon, DJI. Their fast shipping includes return labels.

B&H Photo Video Audio - Located in New York City. B&H offers an extensive selection of photography and video equipment including computers and dark room supplies. See their website for photography books and tutorials.
