Juried Shows and Contests
Northwest Council of Camera Clubs - The Northwest Council of Camera Clubs annual competitions are open to the Seattle Photography Society and other NWCCC clubs. There are three individual competitions: open digital salon, open print salon and digital slideshow competition. The NWCCC club competition is the annual traveling print salon. Winners are announced at the annual Conference, usually held in October or November.
Edmonds Arts Festival- The outdoor Festival is held during Father’s Day weekend, and artists from the US and Canada participate. The Festival offers free live entertainment, food booths, a juried gallery art exhibition and sale, a juried student art exhibit and a children’s art activity area.
Shoreline Arts Council - The Shoreline Arts Festival is held at Shoreline Community College during June. In addition to the artists marketplace, the Festival includes a juried photography exhibit. Check their website for tickets and applications.
Kenmore Art Show - The Kenmore Art Show is held in conjunction with the community’s annual Good Ol’ Days celebration. The Kenmore Heritage Society also sponsors the Northshore Fun Photo Contest which is held in September.
The Washington State Fair has two fairs, both with photography contests. Visit their "Enter a Competition" page for the entry and registration forms.
Evergreen State Fair, Monroe, WA- The Evergreen State Fair is held during the end of August through Labor Day weekend, and has various exhibitor and competition events from photography to pie eating.
Photographic Center Northwest - Every year, PCNW sponsors several juried photography exhibits, and occasionally a call for public art with King County Metro.
